    Clinical excellence and raising standards

We believe in excellence in clinical practice, optimising results and reducing adverse outcomes. We believe in being a major contributor to quality, safety and standards by playing an active part in determining the future direction of lasers and light-based therapies by liaising with industry, media and government.

    Team

Our Managing Director Elissa O'Keefe RN, NP, FFACNP, MACN is a health industry pioneer, a highly experienced clinician and educator and was the first nurse practitioner in the ACT. She is also the lead author of the first ever Australian standards and scope of practice document for cosmetic nursing and is often called on for comment in the industry.  Our award winning company was born when during her four years in cosmetic medicine practice she realised that there was a need for flexible, high quality, post-graduate continuing professional development for health professionals with regard to lasers and other light-based therapies. She lives in Canberra with her surveyor husband, two fun and interesting adult children, a spoodle, a moggie and a pond full of goldfish.

Our Program Advisory Committee, affiliates and our team are chosen with care and we select those we believe strive consistently for academic and clinical excellence, collaboration and who also reflect our philosophy of unparalleled, personalised service provision. We do not collaborate with any device companies whose products aren't TGA approved.

    Philanthropy

Our social conscience and keen sense of community dictates all aspects of our business. We are proud regular supporters of the Australian Red Cross. Our Managing Director has been a huge fan since she did her first ever first aid course in 1978 at primary school and began to fall in love with the health industry.
